Dispatch

What makes a work order vendor-ready

A vendor-ready work order is one a tech can act on without calling you back.

The five required fields

  • Trade and scope in one sentence.
  • Address, unit, and lockbox or access notes.
  • Two or three tenant photos.
  • Suspected cause and parts likely needed.
  • Approved spend cap and who to call if exceeded.

What slows vendors down

Vague scope, missing access, no photos, no spend authority. Remove those four and dispatch becomes routine.
